Am I the only FIU fan here?

i j/k. i feel the pain too. not too many ucf fans either. and if they're any, they are hiding.
 
No worries, in 30 years you'll have at least 10 more fans and maybe even a top 100 recruit.

Actually I have a running poll on my site asking if we should cover FIU sports and it's about tied with yes's and no's. If you have a group of buddies that follow FIU sports, we could start covering them. What's the worst that can happen, nobody reads it? Oh well.

Let me know.
 
I might end up going to FIU like every other kid in SoFla, so I dont go against them. But right now, its all about the U

The obvious answer is yes. If your site is about Miami sports, I don't see why FIU should be neglected. Its a young program.

See, its posts like that that make people outside of Miami hate FIU. And its so ironic, because 3/4's of UM fans don't even go to UM.

According to the poll it's about 50/50 for those who think we should or shouldn't cover FIU. It seems like we will give it a try and see the turnout. And as you stated, it's a rising program, which will likely get better by the year.

As for the UM fans comment, I would have to agree with that. There are plenty of people who didn't get accepted to UM and are loyal fans. Maybe it's just the fact that it's "Miami's Team" and people support it no matter what.

To be fair though, you and I both know that happens in plenty of college football towns. Maybe not to the magnitude of three-fourths of the fan base, but a significant amount. Hah.
 
Nice game for the Panthers. Was rooting for them tonight, because of Saban, and because I will likely end up over there. lol
