This slob that goes by the name of Parcells, or 'Tuna', seems like an overbearing, arrogant know it all. The Dolphins have been MY team as a fan for 30+ years. He doesn't own this team, I the fan does. I don't like him. Horrible choices as far as I'm concerned. And that SOB needs to treat JT with some freaking respect! As far as I'm concerned Parcells and his puppet Sparano need to go. I hate arrogance.

I not a big fan of this draft either but, I trust Parcells knows what he is doing more than me and anyone else here
 
JT needs to treat Parcells with respect, not the other way around. JT never came out in public saying he wants out, but he has found a way to leak it out to the media and friends and has created tension.

As far as that's concerned... yes, you might just be the only one.

As for the draft picks, we've gone years without drafting Lineman early and often. No-one is going to be 100% satisfied with any draft. BP has made moves that are going to make us a LOT better than last year. Don't forget we got a starting caliber TE who was a 2nd rounder and a veteran LB who will contribute as well (for our 4th round pick). I would have loved to address WR and CB... but it all starts in the trenches.... And the draft is not over... look for 10-15 UDFA's to be signed in the next 24 hours...
 
If you've been a loyal fan for 30+ years then you would, or at least should, know the following:

*Our OL has been neglected to the point of being laughable
*Our DL has been problematic and does not contain appropriate personnel to run the 3-4
*Our favorite players all get old and leave either by retirement, trade, or release
*Our current FB did nothing to impress and has had a recent run in with the law
*Our current RBs are both coming off of season ending injuries
*Our QB position is pathetic and needs to be addressed

Now - line those observations up with our draft picks and tell me what you get.

As for JT - it sounds as though JT is the one asking for the trade and his actions are speaking louder than his words ever could. He doesn't want to be part of a rebuilding - fine. BUT, the guy makes millions per year and is a playmaker for us - which means if the Phins honor his request to trade him, they need to do so for appropriate value. I like JT, but I do think the time has come for him to leave via a trade of some sort wherein the Phins get VALUE.
