Roberto Wallace is going to be a very good player in this offense? Ive been intrigued since he signed as a udfa. 6'4 4.49 speed, and from the small amout of playing time, seems like he works very hard. I think he will help ease the loss of BM more than most realize. He wont replicate BMs impact on secondaries, but he certainly looks the part. That being said, with the Desean Jackson rumors, that swirled, I wouldnt be surprised if we went and grabbed another WR via FA or trade. I like Wallace and hope this kid pans out.

Color me surprised if he survives final cuts

You think? The little Ive seen of him, i was impressed. Of course, Im a nobody. Maybe Im way off here, but I see a player when I watch him. Add that to the fact hes teh only legit WR over 6'2 on the roster, I thought he filled a glaring hole.

He doesn't fill any glaring hole until he proves something. Last season- 0 catches.

Fair enough. Victor Cruz didnt have any catches before last season either. Wasnt on the team first year out of UMass. Is Wallace's lack of production a product of lack of talent or lack of ability? I guess time will tell.

The Giants throw the ball to unknowns and give guys a chance to ball....Sparano rarely threw to our WR rooks.

Last year was the perfect year to test those guys out, esp. during the 0-7 run.

Throw the man the ball and lets see what he can do and give him a chance to fail. I think Wallace can shine.

Nobody knew about Marshall coming out of the draft and now everyone thinks he's all world. The same could happen to Gates or Wallace or Cunningham.

Go Fins!

It all depends on whether or not they actually throw the ball to him, and by that I mean more than the occasional uncatchable one.
