That feels Miami got lucky against the 1-9 Niners?

For the most part, the 9ers got the best of us and we did not dominate on either side of the ball... We played well and everything, but (IMO) the 9ers played better, but kept shooting themselves in the foot with dropped passes and other mistakes. Also I feel that if we were playing the Raiders, Pats or even Dallas.... we would have been embarrassed badly...

This is all my opinion... but..

Our offense looked weak.. We have 3 of the 5 O-line out, I understand that.. but SF has been known for giving up the 100 yard weekends all season long.. Our receivers still didnt get seperation from a rag tag bunch of losers in the SF secondary..

Our defensive line could barely put pressure on Keapernik and only got what.... 2 sacks? I was expecting him to be running for his life all friggin day long...

SF is known for short and medium passes and yet where was our LB's? saw way too many long runs to the edges and way too many completed passes for 5-6 yards...

We entered the game as giving up the least amount of 3rd completions and yet SF was able to extend their drives over and over and over.. specially on their last possession of the game... All I can say is we got lucky that Suh was able to sandwich CK and walk off the field with a W..

Am I the only one that feels that even tho we hold the 6th playoff spot that we dont deserve it? especially after barely squeakin a win against the 0-11 Browns and the 1-10 9ers?

I hear what you're saying but winning 6 in a row in the NFL is hard. We deserve that spot for not having let downs. Winning is more important than dominating. In 2007 the Patriots dominated many teams for 16 games but when it counted the Giants won. Who cares about domination?

No, we out played them but we still lack the ability to put teams away when we have a lead. We have been up by a couple of scores a few times this year late and they end up being nail biters. We need to be able to put the nail in the coffin because we are a couple of on side kick recoveries and 2 yards from at least 3 more losses in games that should not have been close.

Kaepernick killed us with his legs in a way that other quarterbacks couldn't do. The 49ers have also been playing teams tough, they haven't quit; they were competitive with the Patriots last week.

Also, remember the situation. Our team was absolutely depleted with crippling injuries and emotionally and physically drained after the road trip. We even had guys who got a stomach bug on the trip puking in the locker room during the game.

That was actually a really good win yesterday.

WRs didn't get seperation?

What?

Lost me with that one. Guys we're open all day which is why Tannehill had a 10 YPA and a 130 QB rating.

Another thing, is have you followed SanFran? They play tough and after Miami came off a grueling west coast trip to win is a great thing to say.

We'd get beat by Dallas no matter if our team pops roids before the game, the OL would decimate our defense. Tannehill and Co would probably shred Oaklands secondary TBH.

Interestingly (well, I found it interesting), I read a quote that's particularly relevant to this, methinks:

"It's funny how your luck changes in a positive direction when you are committed to hard work."

Yes, the Dolphins had some luck swing their way yesterday.

It's about ####### time.

I think you are underrating the 49ers a bit. I understand they are 1-10, but they took the Cowboys to the end, help David Johnson to 59 yards rushing, and played the Patriots tight for a good amount of the game. We didn't put them away when we had the chance (defensively), but we had a 34-17 lead with around 8 minutes left in the game.

I don't know, are you? Maybe not.

I think there is a world of difference between our game with Cleveland and SF. Do we have a lot to clean up? Absolutely! Lucky yesterday? I don't think so. They were the ones playing catch up.

I agree we have to play at a higher level to heat the team's you mentioned but I don't think it's fair to say the win yesterday was lucky.

Sometimes you have bad games, and we actually were up 31-14 before the let down... Pats had us 28-7 at one point before their letdown and we almost beat them, do you think they're crying, no, they take the W, yesterday's jet game, they take the W. Yesterday was the worst I've seen us play in awhile, especially D. But we got the W. This is the NFL, every week you can be beat, by any body. How do you think the team the SF 49ers beat feels? Take the W and move on. We all know we have some gaps on our team, and we know we need some upgrades. I applaud the coaching staff for working around this.

Yes you are I think.

The niners stacked the line to stop Ajayi...we should have thrown more and 31-14 would have been worse.

Also...keep in mind Kaepernick is getting the rust off and we got his best game so far.

Also...this is not college football where you expect to dominate most weeks...they are highly paid pros as well...and on any give Sunday can be on.

If you don't believe it....just look at how close most NFL games are....and the parity of this league.

Its about learning how to win close games...something it seems our Dolphins have figured out.

its not luck, beating Cleveland was luck. the game wuldve been over if dvp was not hurt. either don't expect any team to come and play dead regardless of record. the patsies almost lost to the jets thanks to the refs. this is proly the most beatable pats team Ive ever seen. the ol is sh.t and so is their defense. cant wait till jan 1st 2017.

The one thing I will say is this team is not the soft Dolphins teams of the past. Teams keep wanting to come in here and be physical with us and we keep winning the fist fights! It is awesome to see the toughness of this team!

Our offense looked weak..

I remember threads wondering if and when the offense would get to the 30 pt barrier just once in a season. Now when they do (for the 3rd time this year) they're still called "weak".

:idk:

Was about to post the same thing. Offense was weak?! Gimme a break.

Our offense was missing its three best starting linemen. Stills and Landry were playing injured. Our starting TE is out for the season. Parker went out injured late in the game.

We put up 31 points.

I do not see the problem with our offense yesterday.
