Am I the only one that doesn't want to see our RB's split carries??? We should have ONE feature back, and let him run it down opposing defenses throats all game. Now do I think that one guy should get the ball 40 times a game........NO!!!!, of course not there obviously needs to be a good change of pace guy, or someone to just give that starter a breather, but this idea of seeing 2 or 3 guys carry the rock an equal amount of times every game is non-sense to me. You hear all the time, players/coaches say how a RB gets into a rhythemduring the coarse of a game, and splitting carries will take that away. I know it's worked with some teams in the past, but I just don't like it!!! Of course I will not complain too much if we are running all over people with a crowd of RB's though....LoL

i dont really care as long as whatever they do works. i understand what your saying. its hard for some rb to come in one play here one play there and cant get into a rythm.

It's not going to be like we have a plethora of backs constantly coming on and off the field.

Ronnie will start, and Ricky will get about 7-10 carries a game.

I do agree!

beat them down on the ground then hit them whit the bomb

I'd like us to do what Pittsburgh did to the league last year with Duce Staley and Jerome Bettis. That was pretty nasty. :)

They're nothing like Duce and Bettis... completely different situation. It's gonna be sweet. They will always be rested... good times ahead!! This isnt Pittman and Alstott or Garner or any other bs like that. 2 STUDS!!!! I'm talking Bo Jackson and Marcus Allen... LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL BABY!!!

one of thems not signed yet and the other just officially 'unretired' this week. i wouldn't call either of them studs right now.

I think Ricky and Ronnie splitting carries is a good thing. Ronnie will get his feet nice and wet without having to carry the full load. Ricky won't have to be the work horse he was previously, which is one of the reasons he claimed to have quit. And we won't to worry about one guy running out of steam throughout the duration of the game. I don't see how having dual backs can possibly be a bad thing. None of our RBs will win the rushing title, whoopie! Who cares. I want to win.

Ricky needs a workload to get his rythem. That's his words, not mine.

who the hell knows how any of these guys will be used. saban seems to be obsessed with depth and he's stacking his inventory with decent players, not five-and-dimers like say sammy morris.

Minnisota did pretty well the last couple years with backs splitting cares in the same offense. I believe they even lead the league the year before last.

csonka kiick and morris seemed to work for us once. i don't care who runs as long as its effective and we win
