This was such an awesome watch. This guy focuses on punters and gives his reason why Michael Turk is just scratching the surface of his potential. I know, it’s a punter, but it was a great watch and I encourage people to give it a look.

J never spent that long watching about a punter lol.

Thanks for the video.

We are there I guess. I'm even excited about the punter haha
Haha i feel you. It was good though right? I especially liked when he broke down the top 3 reasons why he will even be better as a pro.

Punters are always a punch line until it's late in the game and you need the punter to pin the other team inside the 5 and he absolutely nails it.
Then who's laughing?

I like the guy. Hope we need zero punts this year though.
I agree, but in the event we do need just one punt, I would share this insight with Young Turk - DON'T KICK THE BALL INTO YOUR PERSONAL PROTECTOR'S KEISTER! :chuckle:

Punter might be the fiercest battle in training camp.

You got 2020 first team All Pro Jake Bailey. He struggled through some injuries and a “suspension” by Belichek ever since. He hates New England so that’s definitely a positive for him (us) too. Small salary at 1.08M with a 152K signing bonus. That salary is guaranteed though.

So that’s working against Turk but in theory might not really be a big deal. There is the potential to trade Bailey if both have a strong camp. And even if Turk flat out beats him out for the job and you decide to release Bailey, there’s no additional cap hit for keeping the minimum salaried Turk. MT would likely be player 52 or 53 on the list and not even count against the cap anyway.

Bigger question for me is who is the better holder?

Thank you for sharing. Nothing like film to make a great point.

I want Turk only to watch him nail a punt returner who breaks free. Couple of those hits per year would be worth the 1 Million guaranteed for Bailey.

Who's trading for a punter though??

Agreed that guaranteed money likely keeps him here, but I do love the potential Turk has.

The dudes got his own youtube channel:
