I don't know if any of you saw the piece they did on Okoye earlier today but I must say that I did, and I was very impressed.

I used to think that if we picked him at #9 we would be doing ourselves an injustice, but seeing the type of player and person that he is, I would not be opposed at all. I think we would be picking up a very good DT.

A first round where we get either get Quinn, Ginn, Landry, or Okoye, would be one that I would be happy with.

It would be a very stupid pick.. He is much too small to play NT in a 3-4 defense.. And he is much too short to play DE in a 3-4.. Carriker at DE or Branch at NT are much better choices.. If you were talking about a 4-3 defense it would be a whole different story. Because in a one gap 4-3 defense, Okoye would be ideal.. But in a 3-4 he is useless as he would get eaten alive ..

Please Amobi is going to be a beast in the NFL. What he lacks he makes up for.

i am a huge okoye fan. i think whoever drafts him will have a great D-Lineman for a long time. I wouldn't mind seeing him in Aqua and Orange, but I too don't know if he could play well in a 3-4. He is, though, without a doubt a beast.

we need offense people not defense

round 1 franchise QB
round two offensive line
round three offensive line
rest of draft, fill in holes

If we go Defense and stay at #9 I say take Carriker. If we drop down a few spots and still want to go defense, I say pick up Reggie Nelson.

Amobi Okoye is very smart, good work habits, high energy, and young....he has superstar written all over him. If we can't draft Quinn I would love to have him...he may even get drafted before #9.
