This is not going to be an analysis, this is not going to be a bashing thread (though Kenny Stills... man you're making it hard not to bash you) Long story short for the game... we didn't take advantage of our opportunities. At least 13 points left on the board (missed FG, 4th down fail... ugh Stills...) and that's unacceptable.

Now there's plenty you can criticize. Steen and Tunsil overall played well but did miss a few blitz pick ups which hurt, the WRs could not get open, dumb penalties, Tanny not even looking at Cameron a few times when he was open, Stills.... but there was also good. I think Tannehill overall managed the game well, Foster was a calming influence, Mario was beasting, the secondary played well for most of the game.

But in the end there are no moral victories. I am pleasantly surprised that we had a chance to win a very tough game especially when Seattle's defense was so dominant. But the loss hurts. But this game will neither make or break our season. I do think if this was last year's team, we would have been down 30 at half. Can we build on the positives or will the negatives become more of an issue?

And I'm sorry I can't hold it in anymore.... GOD DAMN IT KENNY STILLS!!! You cannot drop that. Absolutely not. But after making a political statemnt before the game you better make a play when given the chance, now you're gonna get a lot of crap just like Christian Yellich gave you on twitter.

Seriously the offense looked like total crap. We have no counter for the blitz. Pathetic that Wilson who couldnt move could drive the ball against our seondary when it counted. D coordinator is going to get burried this season.

Yes, our offense looked like crap. To be fair, we looked like crap against a defense considered to be among the best in the league. AND we held them to 12 freaking points, and still lost. SUCKS.

I'm with you on this. The big thing I want to see here is whether or not our defense can play like that again at New England next week. If what we saw today was an honest glimpse of how our defense can perform, we can compete for a playoff spot.

the offense did look like crap, and I put a lot of that more towards an other worldly defense more than our offense just flat out sucking but that's just me. Like I said at the end of the day, losing late again sucks, losing when you leave points on the field sucks, and losing when Kenny Stills drops an easy TD sucks

New schemes, new offense, new players, new coaching staff.......Takes Time to Gel. A 2 point loss in Seattle isn't the end of the world in a long season. Jets and Bills both lost AFC games today. I'm keeping the faith where in the past I would probably be cursing and or crying by now.

Obvious whipping boy is Stills but there's plenty to go around. I disagree with the decision by Gase to go for it early instead of kicking a field goal. And that roughing the passer penalty on Wake was killer.

A lot of good to take away from this. They played a tenacious defense in a very hard place to win and left 13 points on the field. Keep in mind its a new offense and it will take some time to get together but I'm very impressed with Vance Joseph and the defense. May be a better season then I expected but until I see the offense get it together I wont say playoff contender.

Most pleased about Tannehill's 4th qtr drive. That's what I have been waiting to see. Late game drive to take the lead.

if you take out the jimmy clausen/adam gase goose egg in seattle last season, in their other 7 home games, the seahawks allowed 22 ppg. even with the 0 it was still 19 ppg. not exactly like teams weren't scoring on them.

What happened with Yelich?

The secondary just isnt good enough and the pass rush dissappeared when it mattered most.

However Misi had a very good game, both safetys impressed me and Mario Williams was much better than expected.

We still need a rb who can actually run the ball.
