Looking back at the schedule, I found that in the 9 games we had Ronnie Brown, the team scored 25+ points 5 times. In the past 6 games without Ronnie, we have scored 25+ not once!

Plain and simple, the FO needs to resign Ronnie. I believe that once the FO signs/drafts a #1 receiver (which I don't see how they can't address this) , this offense is going to explode. Playaction will be open again, and we won't have to rely on Henne saving us in the 2nd half, throwing 55 times for 350 yards (good for fantasy owners--not a good sign for the team, though).

Having Ronnie back and a go-to receiver will create great balance that will be tough to defend. I believe that Henne is the guy, gauging from what he did with the little talent he had this year.

If we were to draft a WR, I think that Dezmon Briscoe out of Kansas could be a good option, that could possibly fall into the 2nd round. Being from Nebraska, I have seen his play in the Big 12. Folks, this guy is very very talented. He is an athletic freak.

I believe the needed areas will be addressed, and this ship will sail. The defense must improve, obviously, but Will Allen will be back, and I am positive we will draft/sign a talented ILB.

Have faith FinFans! 2010 will be exciting!!!

It's not surprising, considering Ronnie was essentially the Dolphins offense for the last two seasons. That's a big problem though. You can never afford to rely that heavily on one player. Especially when that player is an injury prone running back.

Amen Dolphin brother!!!! Ronnie IS our offense. He would not be dropping those passes Ricky has been. And he wouldn't have had that tripping call Polite had if he were back there blocking. Catching screen/outlet passes and pass blocking are two big things Ronnie does better than most NFL RB's that go unnoticed by the casual fan. He also seems to be a great leader with a team first mentality.

I agree with the second poster in that getting more weapons for Henne will take some pressure off of Ronnie and hopefully keep him healthy. But, if you're a Phin fan I just can't understand how you don't love Ronnie Brown. There are plenty of you out there. All I can say is GET A CLUE.

RONNIE IS THE MAN. RE-SIGN HIM YESTERDAY.

When you're "best offensive player" can't seem to consistently stay on the field your team has a major problem.

Agree...Ronnie has proven to be a OUTSTANDING player when on the field...no doubt about it...a proven player...but he needs to get on the field..Yes I know football is a vicious sport but bottom line is longetivty/consitency is probably one of the most important aspects of football...With that said...I do want Ronnie back...1) B/C when he is on the field Great things happen...2) Pure class act and one of my all time favorite phins.

Plain and simple, this offense just flows better with Ronnie Brown. The injuries aside, he IS one of the elite running backs in this league. We need to re-sign this guy

Its foolish to assume we can just draft a WR early this year and all of the sudden our offense will be ready to explode.. If you want that scenario, we will need to sign a FA or trade for an already established WR..

Even if we draft Dez Bryant, you still cant assume weve got our big time receiver based on history of rookie WRs and the fact that he may not turn into a star WR..

If we want immediate results from the WR position we need to acquire an established talent.. im not against drafting a WR, I think it would be nice, but were going to have to add someone already producing in this league to have the best chance at improving it enough to move forward to the playoffs..

2010 will be uncapped. Everyone knows this. Get with the program. There is no need to give Ronnie a new contract.

Ronnie will become a RFA and get the max tender for 2010. If he stays healthy and has a good year he will get franchised for the 2011 season and most likely will be let go to FA in 2012.

If they do give Ronnie a new contract it would be for some stupid sentimental reason and I will be outraged again at this idiotic FO.

Way too many injuries to risk a new long term contract.

Ronnie won't become a RFA at all. He has a clause in his contract that if there's no CBA agreement in 2010, he remains under contract for another year.
