Can I ask for us to take a moment out of our fandom and have a thought for our old friend, and founding member of this site, Jon (WharfRat)? He is severely ill, in the hospital for the foreseeable future. He is fighting, but the outlook is not good.

Have a positive thought for him and his beloved, Jan (HelenaBucket), who has been to hell and back being his advocate and caretaker.

Maybe the collective positive energy of our community can make a difference in this seemingly cruel and indifferent universe. Thank you.

I can't say i know WharfRat but i hope he turns it around and kicks this things ass.

I wish the best for him and his wife, who has to possess a strength well beyond my own to not only watch a loved one go through this but fight like hell for them.

I hope theres a post in the near future saying theres been an incredible reversal.
 
Prayers for him, I remember him very well, hope (no matter how remote), things do change for the best.
 
Wharf was one of the admins I really looked up to when I became a mod, always had a respect for him. Keep fighting buddy.
