If we fire Grier, he would be perfect for the Jets, he likes being told what to do without ever having a to use his brain. I'm sure Brick and Jack would be thrilled to have him.

What's worse... Ross doesn't do as much research as Woody Johnsons Grandkids. If that’s true, that’s ****ing hilarious. He probably downloads the most popular draft classes, simulates season, and checks the rookie ratings of said draft class before making selections too.
Can’t make this **** up, it’s too Jets. I believe it.
I think Ross leaves most draft and trade decisions to the GM and coach to figure out. He might give his opinion on a few players, but I doubt he ever says "I don't care who you want, we're getting my guy no matter what!"What's worse... I don't think he spends 30 seconds in a given year researching any players, what so ever.I think Ross leaves most draft and trade decisions to the GM and coach to figure out. I don't know, I' recall he had an opinion of who to select in the Tua draft. I think Ross might give input on early round selections, don't know if he says much about day 3 picks. He's obviously has also had opinions about free agents.I don't think he spends 30 seconds in a given year researching any players, what so ever.
The Jets owner might be just as oblivious as Ross when it comes to football but at least he shows he cares. Using Madden ratings and Grandkids to get football knowledge is more than Ross does obviously.
I'm not saying either way is correct, I'm just pointing out how negligent it is, to have Grier ruin the franchise for 7 years running and remain employed today.
The Athletic is the sports version of CNN or the Daily Beast. While this would be hilarious if true, I think this is VERY hard to believe...
