I was reading in todays NY Post the following:

"Miami has dropped 20 of its last 27 at home and has covered just one of its last seven in conference. Jacksonville is 6-1 in its last seven following a loss".

The Phins have really lost 20 of 27 at home??? So much for the heat being an advantage.:boohoo:

It cause the stands are empty and we spend more time booing our players than cheering them on. Though they do give us stuff to boo at more often than not.

That should be a diss to the fans as much as it is to anyone. I don't think teams are intimidated when they come to miami because our crowd is weak.

How could the heat be much of an advantage against Jax anyhow?

I mean sure, Miami can get hot- but when another FL team is against us the heat advantage is the last thing Im thinking about.

No disrespect ment but if you have watched the Dolphins the past 3 yrs you would know that we haven't lost 20 of the last 27 games at home.

i just looked it up, in r last 27 home games we have lost 14

That sounds about right to me too...Anyways, the New York post is almost a tabloid anyways.

The Truth

2006 3-2
2005 5-3
2004 3-5
2003 4-4
2002 7-1
2001 7-1
since 2001 we are 29-16 at home
since 2003 we are 15-14 at home
im not sure how you came up with a 7-20 record but it is obviously wrong.

The post is the main gambling newspaper in New York, believe me, I'm a compulsive football gambler. The guy was definitely talking about point spreads because over the years the dolphins have failed miserably at covering spreads because of unrealistic expectations on the team. I will be taking the Dolphins this week however because the spread is only 1 1/2 and I know wer'e going to shut down the crap Jags in Miami... We held Larry Johnson and the Chiefs to pretty much nothing, if it was possible for a team to score negative points the Jags would accomplish that this Sunday.
