Very good analyzing. Not anything new to people who know the game of football, but for those critics who didnt understand why it wasnt all on Tua... Goes to show we need this year to see what he can do with a team built around him (finally).

Pretty good release? If you knew nothing else from Simms, but looked over a bit of Tua video, that should already tell you Simm's evaluation is not very good, and Simms is full of it.

It's like saying Josh Allen has a pretty good arm...No Chris, we know Allen has one of Strongest Arm in the NFL, and Tua has one of the Quickest Releases in the NFL.

If he is not going to be accurate in a QBs greatest abilities, that's very obvious when you watch Tua, how is it anyone should take Simms seriously in anything else he believes he sees.

You have to assume some type of bias is at play, when people diminish established facts. He probably just doesn’t like shorter QBs that don’t have a cannon, or are Russell Wilson…and everything gets tilted toward the negative because of that bias.

Could be.

Did you notice who was the last name in the release chart?

I would rather have a QB that does not have the strongest arm (yet can make all the throws), but has one of the top releases to get the ball to his talented players quickly like Tua, then a QB that has a cannon, but also has one of the slowest releases in the NFL to get the ball to his talented players like Allen.

Simms hates Tua. What I would like is to hear what he thought of Tua at Bama. That would be intriguing. @Namor, any thoughts on that as you're the Bama expert?

Simms and the hater media have something against the kid. He's going to need to outshine what Sherbert did last year consistently to really get any love. To a certain extent, I think that's a very fair measuring stick but their games are different.
