Ginn makes that catch.

Fins win!

Parcells/Sparno/Ireland are all heros and praised. We are great and on the right path.

Instead every other thread is our defense sucks now,can't stop the run, can't pass, we have know clue to do with our receivers, head coach is bust, Chads arm is the problem, penalties were bogus.

Nahhhh...The reality of it was we were 1 catch short of win. Not bad for team with so many new starters. Not great, but not all that bad!

They didn't fold after it was 20-7....did they? I didn't see it that way. I watched nfl replay again.

My opinion is stick together, support and watch our staff make their adjustments so we can succeed.

Let them fix the problem @ least they see the problem and will try to resolve it.
 
Yeah, people seem to forget (or ignore) pretty fast that we were 1-15 last year.

We are obviously headed in the right direction being very competitive. I expect we'll continue to make progress all year under our new staff.

Like your spirit...but you should have called this thread Analyze this dream.

Ginn making a catch....he was boxed in the corner...revis had position on him and it appears revis could out jump him also.
 
I'll bet my house they double that win total this year!;)
 
Agree Ginn was out of position on the play.

But now the staff has some true game tape of themselves...they see they made some mistake and are shifting things around to have some success.

ANALYZE this REALITY...Ginn didnt make that catch!

All the shoulda coulda wouldas wont change the fact the nice kid is still a BUST!
 
Your right we were one catch awawy! Too bad the pass was poorly thrown by a QB under pressure and not known for his arm strength and the targeted reciever did not opt to fight for the ball. Is that better?...........:err:
 
As I've said...Deficiencies and mistakes are made more palatable with a win, but, they are mistakes and deficiencies non the less.

Actually I would submit that Ginn 'ALLOWED' the DB to get position on him and failed to compete for the ball... This is not a knock on him he is young and raw and will make mistakes but will also get better...

I just wish we had someone in the room who could show him what it means to compete for every ball... Some receivers have the attitude that the ball is 'theirs' as soon as it is in the air and you will NOT get it away from them PERIOD. Ted could use a little of that but he is young and is gonna play tentative until he gets the confidence... I wish people on here would be a little more patient as fans of a rebuilding team...

I still think ginn will work out. He has good hands. Hopefully he has the toughness to hang in there and work hard and find a way to get open.

Every team has deficiencies and make mistakes. Even the teams that win.

Look how many mistakes the jets made.....people just overlook their mistakes cause they came away with the "W"

This topic still isn't about ted ginn....it was about the overall team effort. they were down 20-7 in the forth and had a shot to win at the end....that's all you can ask

Couldn't agree more. If we had held on to beat the Jets, the playoff predictions would be through the roof. Since we lost one game, we wont be good till 2015. :rolleyes2:

Let me sum up all of these "if Ginn caught the ball" threads...



If Ginn caught it we would look at the whole team differently.

Ferguson wraps up the 40 year old Brett Favre on 4th down

Favre doesn't throw a pop fly touchdown to center field on 4th and 13.

They don't call a B.S. pass interference on Goodman and never call a pass interference on the Jets all game.

The refs actually look at the play clock instead of letting the Jets score on a play that should have never happened.

We decide to run the ball on 3rd and goal from the 2.

We don't throw a jump ball to 5'11'' Devone Bess.

We don't throw a jump ball to 5'10'' Ted Ginn.

We kick a field goal instead of trying a stupid out route on the goal line.
