Right guard Todd Perry has never played tackle in an NFL game, but he might have to if Wade Smith or Todd Wade is injured in Sunday's opener against Houston

not there we have anyone besides Dixon on the bench; and for some reason they would not make Nails at OT over Perry

The Dolphins might use Jamie Nails at left tackle if Smith gets hurt, moving Seth McKinney into Nails' starting left guard spot. If starting right tackle Todd Wade gets hurt, starting right guard Todd Perry might move to right tackle and McKinney could replace Perry at right guard.

''We could have Todd Perry swing at either tackle,'' coach Dave Wannstedt said. ``We're working a couple of scenarios.''

They sure like the fact they didn't release him like everyone was talking here in the offseason.

We were and still are very thin in the OL.

Our concerns were very fonded with Dixon being injury prone, Nails coming off an season ending injury and the Ruddy Vs McKinney "drama".

I really hope that Smith can be the man at LT, if not we're in big troubles.
