Brett Tessler, agent for Player A in Wells report, releases a statement. He says it was Andrew McDonald, who players joked is gay (he isn’t)

Brett Tessler, the agent for Player A (Andrew McDonald), pushes back on the characterization of events in the Wells report (cont,)...

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 2m

Tessler: "(He) personally has no problem with the Miami Dolphins organization and has the highest opinion of Coach Turner ..

Andrew Abramson ‏@AbramsonPBP 2m

Agent for Andrew McDonald (Player A for Dolphins) says in statement that Wells only spoke to him briefly & he has good relationship w/Turner

Andrew Abramson ‏@AbramsonPBP 2m

McDonald, according to the report, was routinely made fun of for being gay even though players said they didn't actually think he was gay.

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 2m

McDonald is "disappointed" that his name has come up, and that Wells already had all the info contained in the report when he contacted him.

Armando Salguero ‏@ArmandoSalguero 2m

Jim Turner gave other o-linemen female blowup dolls. "Joke" was that McDonald was gay. (He is not).

Andrew Abramson ‏@AbramsonPBP 2m

Martin once wrote in text to Incognito that he was going to give McDonald bath salts & sandpaper condom & put him in a locked room w/Richie.

I'm sure he had the highest opinion when Pouncey had him in a headlock and Jerry was grabbed his a$$ imitating a sexual act.

The Wells Report is being questioned by someone other that Richie Incognito? Say it ain't so.

Brett Tessler said McDonald “personally has no problem” with the Dolphins, “feels terrible” about how his relationship portrayed in report

BREAKING NEWS: men joke with other men about being gay. Stay tuned for the 11 o clock broadcast where we discuss gravity making things fall.

Thanks Ted Wells for trying to out a straight man who had the backbone to stand up for himself - while giving the jelly-spined pampered son of your Harvard Law School fellow alumni (do any of the years overlap by chance?) essentially a free ride. I don't doubt some of the report's veracity however, I'll keep saying that it's not the whole story (not that it exonerates anyone who factually deserves condemnation). OTOH, no matter the findings, if they were concluded by a consensus from a bi-racial committee of former players, management, media, union members and arbitrators I'd feel better we truly got all the facts no matter where the proverbial "chips" may have fallen.

Don't know what to think about this. Even if he was personally Ok with it, I still find their behavior as characterized reprehensible.

The Japanese Trainer still got the worst of it and I doubt very much he was OK with the treatment he received.

So Ted wells didn't care what McDonald thought about the treatment? Isn't that kind of important to his report? In order for harassment to be harrassment the victim has to have a problem with it

The Wells Report is going to result in new behavior guidelines for NFL players, regardless of whether or not McDonald felt harassed. This is a perfect pretext for the league to foist those guidelines on the NFLPA with minimal protest.

Not because McDonald was or was not offended, but because the door is now open for future Jonathan Martins and the NFL needs to put a stop to this fast.

On a side note, is anyone else amazed that Turner is still with the team? It's been a day since the report dropped. I thought he would be gone by the morning...

Has anyone considered that this is a practice squad player that doesn't want to be blackballed?

Since the season ended, I have been amazed he still has a job. Completely agree.

I'm not amazed, Ross moves at a friggin' glacial pace. And there really isn't a lot of ammo in there aside from the blow-up doll incident. As far as how Turner personally handled Martin's depression, the report is actually complimentary of him there.

But make no mistake, he's going to be fed to the dogs for consumption. It's just going to happen on Big Steve's schedule.

He should of been fired because of the ****ty play of the o-line all season. The incident is just icing on the cake.
