Sorry if this has been posted, I didn't see it.

My favorite part of that article:

Saban knows talent; he’s got an overhauled roster as proof, a roster that looks a whole lot better today than it did last May.

Speaking of that roster, there’s one thing about this draft that nobody can dispute.

The Dolphins hit a home run with their second-round pick.

That was Daunte Culpepper.

I dare you to find a greater impact player taken in that round. It was a bargain for the Dolphins, a trade the Vikings had to make, and regardless of when Culpepper returns to full strength, we know enough about him to be sure that he’s going to give this franchise an impact player behind center that they haven’t had since Marino.

Are you guys excited yet? I sure know I am.

It's true. Even Saban said in his press conferences that when you take our draft into account, you have to realize that we aquired Culpepper with our 2nd rounder, Manny Wright with our 5th, etc. When you take all of that into account, we had a VERY good draft.

1st - Jason Allen CB
2nd - Daunte Culpepper QB
3rd - Derek Hagan WR
4th - Joe Toledo OT
5th - Manuel Wright DT
6th - Cleo Lemon QB
7th - Fred Evans DL
7th - Rodrique Wright DT
7th - Devin Aromashodu WR

Most of these guys will be on the field for us a lot this year (Allen, Hagan, Culpepper, Wright in particular) and the other guys have great potential to develop into eventual starters. I feel that is the most you can ask for when you talk about a draft.

wow, but we took three DT's. that kind of stands out. especially if we switch to a true 3-4, only one of them is going to be seeing the field at a time.
