Angels change name to Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

what would the AFC East teams be if they renamed themselves?

The Miami Dolphins of Ft. Lauderdale
The Buffalo Bills of Rochester
The New England Patriots of Boston
The New York Jets of East Rutherford

This is dumbfounding. Doesn't the commish have to approve of something like this? If so, why would he let Anaheim change their name to this one?! The Florida Marlins of Miami....could you imagine that? Wow, Selig's decisions lately have been unbelievably stupid.
 
I doubt he signs off on this. Selig cannot be that stupid. I wonder what they'll go by in the standings LMAO!
 
Arte Moreno,the Angels owner did it for marketing purposes(more money). He had to leave Anahiem in the name not to totally piss them off. It would have meant alot of money loss to the city of Anahiem. After all they do play there. GO HALOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
the city of anaheim is gonna take them to court so they can stop the name change. Me personally I dont like it. It doesnt sound right. I heard woody paige on around the horn say they should change the name to O.C. angels instead since their in orange county i guess
