Announcers kiss Revis behind last night

In the Jets Bills games last night the announcers had there nose up Revis's butt all night long. He did have a great game and has been having a great season but they were a little overboard for me.

They flashed up stats on all the good receivers that he has shutdown this season. Of course in that list they failed to mention that Ginn (a not very good receiver) toasted him in the 1st meeting. Kind of makes you wonder who elso had success against him that they failed to mention.

Stats can be twisted to prove just about any point you want. And if you're going to prop a guy up then atleast be fair and mention that same players short comings

If it was Vontae playing like that and getting praise you'd love it. I hate those puke green scumbags but let's be real, that guy has played lights out. We can hope Vontae and Sean get to that level.
 
shoot i was talking abouyt revis like that at buffalo wild wings. they didnt even have the sound on. he is that good, i wouls trade our whole secondary for him
 
Anyone who says Revis sucks don't watch enough football. I wish we had him and also David Harris over Crowder in a heartbeat.
 
just because its a jets player you have a problem. But if it was Davis they would just be giving him props and you'd love it. He one of the best CB's in the league so get over it. Very childish attitude to take issue with what the announcers say in regards to a proven talent.
 
He's the best corner in the game, hands down. Whatever praise and accolades he receives, they are well deserved. I'm sure it's only because he's a Jet that this is an issue for you at all. And this is coming from someone who absolutely abhors everything Jets.

Did you actually read my post. I have no problem giving credit to Revis. He is great. But to not mention his failings aren't really accurate. The stats they showed made it look like he hadn't been beaten all season. Which is far from the truth.

Can you actually read. I just mentioned that they conveniently left out the times he has been beat.

No issues at all about a Jet receiving praise. Just don't leave out the his bad days and I'm cool.
 
Revis is good but he is NOT the best CB in football. These announcers need to put down the crack pipe.
 
Revis is a mad man..He looked great last night..

And i have never seen him even get a penelty....

He is the next Champ Bailey

If there's someone better they aren't playing like it this year. Revis is the best CB I've seen in a long time. I know there are a couple of guys w/ him on that level now but watching Revis every game is amazing. One of TO's recs wasn't even against revis. The last time we had a big time corner was Aaron Glenn but I always felt he was overrated, Revis is truly great. Not only can he cover but he's great in run support, he is a sure tackler. he has it all and he has a very good chance to win DPOY this year- if only the team played a little bit better I think he'd be a favorite.
 
Giving up 1 td to Ginn isn't rally a failure, Ginn still only had like 65 yds that game and 54 came on 1 play. Actually that is the most yards he has given up in a game all season. He deserves every bit of hype and praise he is getting! The only thing that upsets me is it reminds me that we picked Ted Ginn Jr, 5 picks prior to him.
 
Revis is the best cornerback so i think they have a reason to talk about him, He made a clutch interception. When's the last time any cornerback did that for the phins?
 
Vontae Davis will be in revis in couple years but not now. There rookie years are almost the same. :hi5:
