Just a quick intro. from a huge Dolphan from Scotland. I just discovered finheaven about a week ago and I've enjoyed following the posts.
By way of background, I first got into American Football as we call in the mid-80s when it went crazy in the UK. I can't even remember why I picked Miami as my team (I think I liked the name and colours!) but it was the time of Marino/Duper/Clayton. I would watch highlights on Channel 4 and listen late at night (our time) to Armed Forces radio. When Football was dropped from terrestrial tv I was no longer able to follow Miami. Last year I got myself satellite tv and got back into it. This season I have really reignited my interest, following from the draft through to now and I cannot wait for the season.
I followed the phins during part of the Shula era, missed the 9Os and the early 00s, now I am back for Saban - sounds like I hit it about right.
Now with Finheaven I feel like I have found a home.
