This kid is a solid young qb with a HUGE arm and he's mobile. He plays on a pretty mediocre team and won't be hyped up. IMO, he's perfect for this offense and is a definite sleeper...anyone know where he ranks among the nations best?

I like him. Hes gotta be more accurate and more consistant with his decision making. I think he'll be a 3rd rounder.

Stats got mess up, my bad. They are good though.

Hackney is pretty solid. I thought he was agonna break out sometime within the next 2 seasons and really break onto the scene but that never happened. He is an intriging prospect though.

3rd rounder or a day 2 pick, he's a project though, but he could be a gem to whoever drafts him.

Cutler or Hackney. I'd take any one of them in the 2nd or Third.

I would love Marcus McNeil/Haloti Ngata in the first and Cutler in the 2nd (granted, Cutler may not fall there, but I can dream lol).

Hackney reminds me of Gerard(spelling) the backup for Jacksonville. Big up side, but also a big project.

I expect him to be a first day pick. Mid 3rd round pick. I wouldet mind us taking him but he would be a real big project. I would take Cutler and Jacobs over him, mabey McNeal. In the 1st/2nd round we will probably have these QB's to pick from.....

1) Cutler - If hes there in the 2nd take him. If his stock rises, take him in the 1st.

2) Jacobs - Love him. I seem to be he only one. If Cutler is gone in the 2nd and we go somewhere else in round 1, take him.

3) Hackney - If Jacobs and Cutler get sandwiched inbetween our 1st and 2nd round picks, I could see us going after Hackney.

4) McNeal - Mabey in the 3rd if all 3 previous QB's are off the board.

Young and Leinhart wont be there, forget it.

If we decide to go QB in the 3rd or 4th round we could look at some of these QB;s also...

Kellen Clemens - Oregon
Paul Pinegar - Fresno State
Charlie Whitehurst - Clemson
Brodie Croyle - Alabama
Brue Gradowski - TOL
Erik Meyer (STEAL) - Eeastern Washington
D.J. Shockley - Georgia

This years QB class is REAL deep. This is the year to get our future stud.

Don't we already have a project in Lemon?
Why must we be a team of projects?

Because we are drafting in the middle of the first round. Unfortunately sure shot QBs aren't easy to come by. Leinhart seems to be the only one in this draft and there seems to be question marks about him and there is no way he'll ever fall to us. The next biggest prospect is Vince Young and he'll never fall to us either. Young is far from a sure thing. Drafting QBs isn't a sure science.
