thats not true they put those differences aside during parcells tenure in dallas. in fact during the owners meeting they usually had breakfast together

At the time no one could have predicted such failure for Saban. BB and he are good friends and it was reported that in the offseason they would talk football strategy. BB had a lot of respect for Saban as coach from their days back in Cleveland.

The difference here is two fold.

Parcells wanted this job, Saban did not.
two, Parcelss was not in the stands with Belecheat during combine or senior bowl. That says Parcells is not chummy with the guy he plans on beating come Sept.

I trust Bill Parcells because he is not in this business for the money. He knows how to win in the NFL. Nick Saban only knew how to win in the SEC.
