Just letting you guys know this opens up more trade possibilities for us to acquire a position of need. Exactly which position that is remains to be seen from our FO, but hopefully it is 1) TE or 2) OL.

your not getting cooley or fred davis from washington so where's this te depth you speak of come from???
 
I'd look at their O-line depth the 'Skins are running the same ZBS the Dolphins are trying to run(unsuccessfully). Getting a experienced swing guard-tackle would can't hurt.
 
i think mike sellers might be able to help us a little but he's not a true te...not even close to being so

the guys they'd cut can't help us...
 
I would rather just trade them a D-LINEMAN straight up for a pick. I mean, they are the team that gave us a 2nd for Taylor. I wonder what they would give for Starks. heck I wonder if they would overpay for Merling lol
 
I didn't say Washington specifically had TE depth. It was my Opionion we would be looking to upgrade TE or OL but NO ONE here has a clue exactly where they are looking to upgrade! I just mentioned them as another team whose D-Line has taken a major blow and they could be looking to trade. They have Cooley and Fred Davis who are both pretty good. But given we would more than likely be trading Merling those caliber players are out of the question IMO.
 
ok...well let me tell ya then that there's no te depth in washington worth acquiring and there's no oline depth that can help us...they guys they'd cut lack any redeeming qualities...sean locklear i think at tackles on the cut block but he got abused last night a few times...

those olineman aren't special anyways...you could put any run of the mill rb behind that system and he's gonna gain yards...tim hightower??? please...average at best...but running rampant in the second level

The Skins run the system better than the Fins, it's worth an in-depth evaluation of their OL.

The second part of your post nails an important point. The RB that succeed in the ZBS aren't 1st or 2nd round picks; their day 3 or UDFA that take to coaching and run for their paychecks. And their interchangeable, thus saving cap space.
