another ugly win that I will take, but i'm concerned. This win was even uglier than the seahawks game.

We are going to have to step it up about 3 nothces to beat New England.

yes it was an ugly win,but i'll take it also...we all know that we're not where we're going to be at as far as winning games convincingly, but we'll get there my fellow Dolphins fans,we'll get there...

I'll take it as well...is it just me or do we play better against teams that were underdogs to and play better on the road?

It wasn't as bad as the score looked really. Between special teams and the refs we gave up 12 points. The safety, was b/c bess makes bad decisions when fielding punts, the TD on PR and the field goal the refs handed them as a 40 yard PI. We could've almost posted a shut out. We scored 17, if Ronnie didn't fumble would've atleast been 20.

Fumbles and bad calls happen.. bad special teams is inexcusable. If we are going to be a playoff team we have to fix ST.

and btw total yards 180 to 380. We got it done on O and D. ST is just killing us.

yea they played better than last week, thats for sure. Just the few mistakes we made . . . really messed us up.

But I could care about ugly . . . at the end of the season . . . we will talk about the Jets loss and the Houston loss (whether it be because we missed the playoffs, wildcard and not the division, division and not a bye, bye but not homefield throughout) . . . the way we beat Seattle and Oakland will all be a myth by Wednesday, and we wont care about how we won those games ever again.

U don't care how u win games . . . u only talk about the ones that u lost . . and how they effected you in the end.

Sound crazy...mabye...but

It is better that Miami is finishing off games with the game on the line right now. That is a KEY ELEMENT of a WINNING TEAM. Miami cannot seem to take a game over right now...big surprise. However Miami's Offense is finding ways to win the game on the last drive. I love the fact that Miami is building up confidence with the game on the line. The D is also looking good except in the Week 1 Jets game and the Houston game.

Miami by all means right now is playing better than just about everybody thought would be possible. They lost the two biggest stars since Dan Marino with Zach & Jason. They drafted mostly OL & DL in the draft. They are building another team to become a contender and beyond. If they keep getting good value players and drafting well....Miami could be a HUGE THREAT in 2 more seasons.

The special teams will need a major overhaul in the season. But right now the team is still building and trying to gel. The future looks bright and the Dolphins are adding key elements EARLY like FINISHING GAMES.

GO DOLPHINS

The bottom line is, if we play that way against the Patriots we'll get stomped. Our team needs to stop giving up huge kickoff returns and also needs to stop committing stupid penalties on special teams or New England will capitalize on those.

These past two wins are called playing to the opponents talent level. If you look at the games with New England and Denver, the talent is easily better than what Miami has at the moment but Miami ended up winning those games due to better game preparation. Perhaps Sparano doesn't game plan as much for the worse teams, who knows. Wins are wins!

I Love It...people Bitching About A Win...who Would Have Thunk It At The Beginning Of This Year...

This win once again shows that Pennington is absolutely clutch in the 4th quarter. Winning these types of games gives our team the confidence that they can win close games. I think we can beat New England next week no problem.
