Anthony Fasano - The Total Package

1) If we had fewer turnstiles on our O-line, Fasano would get more time running routes

2) If we had a QB that could put the ball where it is supposed to be (not behind receivers or 20 feet over their heads), Fasano would have better numbers

and

3) If we had a QB (and offensive coordinator) that would throw downfield, Fasano would have better numbers.

Now, Henne could be improved this year, if so, that is one less excuse for my boy Fasano.

Henning is GONE!! One less excuse.....

The only real question is our O-line, i was underwhelmed by their preseason performance.

Check the tapes, look at how many times Fasano was wide open last year, only to see Henne toss it to a RB...

Don't put Fasano in the same sentence as Davis, Witten or Gates . . . Fasano doesn't threaten a defense. Gates doesn't need a #2 receiving TE to be a game changer. Good blocking TE's are reserved for #2 TE's. Fasano is ok as a starter, but he isn't a bonafide weapon or anything like that. He is decent . . . very upgradeable IMO.

When Fasano runs, he looks like he is running on sand or trying to beat Marino in a foot race.
