1. Tight end Anthony Fasano might be on his way back.
Fasano had been a non-factor all season. But he got back in the mix against the Jets, finishing with four catches for 38 yards and a touchdown.
Fasano entered the game with four catches for 18 yards; he also had two killer fumbles during a season-opening loss at Atlanta. But Fasano’s 21-yard catch from RB Ronnie Brown out of the Wildcat on the game’s third play ignited the Dolphins’ opening TD drive.
Fasano added a 2-yard touchdown catch early in the fourth quarter, tossing the ball high in the air in celebration of his first TD a season after he had seven.
The first extensive use of a two-TE set (with Joey Haynos) seemed to help and set the tone for better production out of Fasano.
