I have got to be honest, I do not like how he answered the question. It sounds like a lot of excuse making. Even if some of his points are fair, end of day there were still 20 missed tackles. I don't want the answer to just be "credit to the other team." I would like a little more oomph in his response that lights a bit of a fire, and something that demands more out of the players.

Excuse making is what we do best!!!!

We're 30 year reigning Champs of excuse making!

He also said the fundamentals need to be improved. Basics. He made that pretty clear.

"Do we need to be better with our technique and fundamentals in wrapping up, driving our feet, not diving off the diving board? Absolutely."

fair point he did say that, but it was wrapped in a bunch of excuses. i would think/hope a guy like him would be r*pshit and embarrassed about that performance. we need someone on this coaching staff with some fire. everyone cannot be mr nice guy. it is about more than just everybody getting along and being kumbaya. i think fangio wanted more of that old school approach, and that is why the whole thing was like oil and water here. the organization needs it now!

It's ridiculous how they are at the top of the football food chain so to speak but they still need to be taught or re-taught the basic skills of tackle football....just...I cant....

We don’t have to dissect every single word these guys say. They aren’t paid for how convincing they are at a podium with a reporter.

They need to go back and address their players and get back to work and get ready for next week. Period.

Their priority should be to win on the field not give the best speech. They aren’t running for president. Please keep this perspective,
