Fourth-year receiver Antwaan Randle El, a free agent next season, said he's focused on the Super Bowl, but added he would like to play for Mularkey someday.

"He'll be doing some big things for [the Dolphins]," Randle El said. "I know he's got the talent down there to get it done. It means a whole lot to see him get back with someone after things didn't work out in Buffalo. There were some inside things that he didn't like, and we understand because he's not a quitter by any means."

I saw that. Of all the speculation about which FA became more likely Dolphin targets as a result of the MM hiring, I think Randell El is it.

Who cares about ESPN and if they respect us?!!!?

Wow, that's very interesting. I had no ide Randel El was a Free agent. We could put him at the KR position, keeping Welker at PR duties. Also use him like we use Welker in the offense as a slot reciever and his 'trick' plays and speed can totally mess with the defense. Plus he can throw the ball ;)

Saban is heading into the right Direction Im lovin ittttttttttttttt

Randle El would be an exciting player to watch, and perfect for MM's trick plays.

"It's clear that Saban hand-picked Mularkey partly for his ability to develop young quarterbacks."

What young quarterback might we be talking about here?

He's just givin his ex-OC props!

Randle El would be a great addition. He would fit perfectly as a 3rd WR and a KR. Welker could show up in 4 WR sets, be back with El on KR, and handle all the PR duties. That would keep Welker fresh. Sounds great!! :D

His level of production so far in his career will probably not match the contract he should get on the open market, thats the downside. He is young though and wasn't a wr in college so there is still hopefully some upside in production to come.

I think an interesting positive if we acquire him is in helping Chambers to get acclimated to Mularkey's system. Chambers has said a few times now that he can doesnt learn very well through being told, but by doing and watching; having another wideout there who he can talk to and watch might be beneficial, in the same way Travis Daniels was able to help the DBs with the new system on defense last year.
