Hello,

Just wanted to ask about something I haven't noticed a post on. Is anyone at all concerned about the injury history of Tunsil, considering our history of offensive linemen with health problems? Sorry this post isn't more in depth, but the site seems to want to confine me to 10 wpm with this autosave feature. Really annoying.

I am more Worries about him hitting pipe in south beach . Than injury

Just dont room him with Dion:)

Bigger worry than the drugs imo

I saw something about the torn bicep along with the broken leg, and I think I remember at least one more injury. Now, given, these injuries aren't necessarily indicative of a tendency to get injured, but there's something to cumulative wear and tear..

Broken leg is a non issue. Torn bicep is nasty. Seem to remember Jake Long was very hampered with biceps injuries. You still make the pick though.

It doesn't bode well that he has had so many injuries, but the lack of a recurring injury in one location bodes well.

It's a physical sport, and stuff like this happens. If anything I take it as a great sign he has bounced back so consistently.

Word was, most scouts knew about the marijuana use and that may have had a mild affect on the slide. The injury history also contributed. The Fibula injury was from falling over another lineman in Dec 2014. The social media leaks yesterday had to be the main reasons for the slide because he doesn't have a major lingering INJURY issues. Some snipits from Wiki...

Tunsil (6'5/310) made 26 starts in three years at left tackle for Ole Miss, allowing zero sacks and five QB hurries in six games as a 2015 junior. He missed seven games last season due to a suspension for receiving improper benefits. Strong (34 bench-press reps) with 34 1/4" arms and blessed with elite left-tackle feet, Tunsil is ready to protect quarterbacks in the NFL and offers traits to develop into a high-level run blocker. Although he doesn't address an immediate need in Miami, Tunsil became a potentially great value from a talent standpoint when he slipped in the draft due to a social media mishap

As a sophomore, started at left tackle in all 11 games that he played in, only missing the Auburn and Presbyterian games due to a partially torn bicep. In June 2015, before his junior season, Tunsil was accused by his stepfather, Lindsey Miller, of having accepted improper benefits from agents. Coach Hugh Freeze decided to bench Tunsil for the season-opener against Tennessee–Martin on September 5, as a “precautionary measure.”[15] Tunsil was suspended by the NCAA and missed the first seven games of the season.[16] He was reinstated before the #15 Texas A&M game on October 24.[17] His matchup with defensive end Myles Garrett, who entered the game with 8.5 quarterback sacks, was highly anticipated. According to analysts Tunsil emerged as “the big winner,” not giving up a sack and helping the Rebels to a 23–3 upset win.[18] Having missed the first half of the season, Tunsil was not selected to any All-American team despite solid performance. During the Sugar Bowl game against Oklahoma State, Tunsil made a reception for a touchdown on a lateral pass as Ole Miss won the Bowl game 48–20.

I'm not concerned about anything. He is healthy now and ready to go. We grabbed a top rated player at #13 and that's all I'm thinking about, we couldn't have made a better pick in that situation.
