I'm really anxious to acknowledge the results of this situation. I have much respect for brown but if you look for results, Ricky is statisticly the better running back. Who here thinks ronnie is better?

Concern?...NO.
Interest?...Yea, alittle.

Not worried at all. Brown will THRIVE this year especially with all the upgrades we're making along the O-Line.

We dont NEED Ricky back. But he'll be nice.

I think Ronnie has the upside and could turn out to be the better back in the long run.. But in the meantime it is good to have a veteran to help him carry the load until he's ready to take it on himself..

I for one am sick of all the Williams drama. Look, I dont have anything against him and I dont hold a grudge on him for walking out on us but he carries way too much baggage for our team. With the way things are going, we dont need to worry about players failing drug tests or anything like that. I am not saying I hope the appeal fails, I am just saying that I wish him luck but it is time to let Ronnie take the reigns and for Williams to step off into the sunset like he wants to

I don't believe that Ricky has been provened to have given a dirty test yet. And if not for Ricky, last season we wouldn't have done as good as we did last season. I think Ronnie had hit that wall last season and when that happened Ricky really stepped up and helped the Dolphins win those last 6 games. I don't think Ricky carries that much baggage with him anymore. All the guys on the team seemed to be glad that Ricky played last season. And if it is good enough for them then it is for me. Just my opinon...

That's true. Even though we have Ronnie Brown we still need Ricky Williams. The last two games of the season he ran for an average of 145 yards off of 26 carries. Ronnie Brown is still adapting to the NFL. Ricky is one of the best he could teach Ronnie a few things.

With the up comming Season on the way, And rickys Appeal Pending.

We are all Anxious to see how Rickys Appeal is going to turn out to be.
I Personally Think Ricky is going to be, Cleared. When Ricky First Came back, he was determined to Play again. He worked hard all Before and During the Season, to get back into Football Shape.

I don't think Ricky in anyway Smoked Weed, or did any other Drug, Other than his Yoga Herbal Supplements.

I think Ronnie Brown, Will Break out this Year. Remember last season was his First NFL Season. I think Hes going to End up turning up the Heat This Season. Especially with a New Amped O-line.

re:

Ricky is the X-Factor of the Dolphins. His value is high. Keeping RB's legs fresh is adding years onto Ronnie's career. Just by what happened last season, I think RB is good to play another 2-3 years longer than Cadillac in TB, because they REALLY rode him last year.

I think Ronnie has more skills than Ricky, but it's just going to take a couple more years. In the meantime hope Ricky can play and add to this soon to be potent offense.

I would love to see Ricky back next year. You'd have to admit, the Ronnie/Ricky show last year was a hit.:cooldude:

Ricky is strictly gravy....I hope he avoids a suspension but I'm not holding my breath. He has value...on the field and via a trade but we are not hitching our ride to Ricky anymore. We don't have to.

You guys need to understand that Ricky has, in fact, failed his 4th drug test. Whether it was caused by actually taking the drug, or a yoga supplement or diuretic or whatever, by definition, he tested positive for a banned substance. Everyone seems to think he'll win his appeal so easily, but the burden of proof is on him to prove he didn't in fact take the substance he tested positive for. Proving that another substance can cause an erroneous positive result is fine, but it doesn't prove to the committee that the guy who already failed 3 tests, is innocent. I think the odds are stacked against him. The only things working in his favor are his talent and value to the league (let's face it a mediocre talent gets less consideration), and hopefully he tested positive for something other than pot. His very public healthy lifestyle is really only a few months away from admitted heavy pot use.

That's why I think Nick is smartly looking at Michael Bennett and probably other options as well.
