Da GODfather
Practice Squad
Any given Sunday one team can beat another. PERIOD. End of story. Anybody who thinks otherwise is NOT a true football fan and if you dont believe and have faith in your team every single week then again, you are NOT a true fan. I have been a Miami Dolphins fan since the first time i saw them play. I will NEVER turn my back on my team. No matter if they win every single game (again) or lose every single game (came damn close) i will still bleed Aqua and Orange! It makes me sick to my stomach when i see fans (especially Dol-fans) who just assume we cannot beat whomever it is we are playing on that given Sunday. I just guess people have different thoughts when it comes to being a fan. Anyway, enough with the preaching lol. I just wanted to paint a lil picture for all of you of a perfect example of the phrase "Any Given Sunday"...

Their running back quit, their coach resigned and their season is in a shambles. But for some reason the Miami Dolphins kept trying against the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, even when they trailed by 11 points with three minutes left.
And so the Dolphins staged a stunning comeback Monday night. With Tom Brady's ugly interception providing an opening, Miami scored two touchdowns in the final 2:07 to beat the Patriots 29-28 Monday night.
The upset rivaled the biggest in Dolphins' history, because they've rarely been so woeful. Reeling ever since Ricky Williams' retirement in July, Miami need the win to avoid being swept by AFC East opponents this season.
We've been on the losing end of so many drives like that," Feeley said. "It feels good to come out on top."
"Nobody gave us a chance," Taylor said. "I hope they lost a lot of money with their 10-point spread."
The Patriots lost despite a 121-yard rushing performance by Corey Dillon, and they lost after leading at halftime for the first time in 32 games.
The Dolphins wore orange jerseys for only the second time, and the uniform change altered their fortunes. Feeley overcame a slow start and four sacks to win for the second time in seven starts since coming to Miami.
The victory fattens the resume of interim coach Jim Bates, who is 2-3 since Dave Wannstedt resigned. Bates is expected to interview for the coaching job Tuesday.
"We'll think about that tomorrow," Bates said. "Right now I'm just enjoying this victory. It is a sweet win to beat the world champions."
Miami was out matched in almost EVERY single aspect of the game. Coach,QB,RB, ETC i can go on and on but you get the point. The Dolphins left it ALL out on the field, gave it everything they had and gave proof to the statement "Any Given Sunday" (and in this case it made an exception for a Monday too lol)
**If anybody wants to see this game again i have it on my computer. Just email me. REAL fans ONLY!!!
