Should really consider their understanding of football...

I remember him giving up more plays than making them. I'm starting to notice most of our players are rated on potential, not play. Except for Marshall and Long, alot of these players are all name, no substance.

there is a reason they tried playing jason allen last year...smith is afraid of contact as much as ted ginn was...

This.. And it is those that continually argue that we are a very talented team.. We do have SOME talent, some.. Only a handful of players on this team are actually talented.

People think Smith is good because they find some number out there that says his coverage is good. The problem is that these coverage statistics award him when he is in the area of his receiver and the ball is not thrown there. The problem is that whenever a QB choses to challenge Smith, the QB is rewarded because Smith can't make plays to stop the catch.

Many people on finheaven must be in need of a trip to the eye doctor. Sean Smith flat out blows. He is just a breathing body that can be put out there. Guy is soft, can't tackle consistently and can't play a proper angle to save his life. That td to Cribbs was ridiculous. He wasn't even playing the ball. Honestly, I couldn't tell what in the hell he was playing. The dead air?

He gives up 1 catch in the entire half and now he sucks? I'm as frustrated as anyone that this is a tied game still, but for f*cks sake, you people need to get your damn emotions in check...

His one catch is almost always a 30-40 yard pass. That's the biggest problem.

Why don't we look at it the opposite and say that Jason Allen lost his job because he gave up two catches last year versus the Jets. And this was after he picked off 3 in the first two games, single-handedly winning them. Why is it that Smith gets excused for making bad plays even when he makes NOT A SINGLE POSITIVE PLAY.
