The biggest downer from last night were the ankle injuries to our promising young LBs. Any news?
The scores in these preseason games don't matter - nothing sickens me like seeing our young talent hobbling off the field.

Armando Salguero said it doesn't seem serious. Ankles can be tricky, so hope they are smart.

Tripp was seen with crutches and a boot - not good

I like Vigil and Hull more that Tripp. Never really have seen Tripp do much. Cannot stay healthy either.

I hope Tripp isn't one of those talented players that can never stay healthy..........

So far this appears to be the case though...

I am in the same boat as you here. I wouldn't be upset keeping those two guys and letting Tripp walk. I'd like to see Luc on the PS and see if he can develop.

Mccain's injury was one of those that you saw "oohhhh" when you first look at it, but he walked off fine . . . just turned his ankle on Shelby's foot.

He may get a few days off to ice up and rest it, but it didn't look serious.

Tripp has had a good camp, but yea, the injury bug is killing him . . . both UDFA LB's looked solid in a depth role. Maybe we find room for both, definitely PS tho.

Glad Tripp may be fine..... hope McCain is ight after a bit. we need all these guys for our LB squad to work and develop this year. We dont have the depth and talent to go into and throughout the 2015 season hurt.

Vigil played nice I thought.... how was Hull in your guys minds in his time??? any thoughts here on these two?

Both player pretty well....and both could have a shot to make the team....Hull should/could end up being a good specials guy...

i think specials are going to end up being the deciding factor of who makes the 53

It appeared as though Tripp's injury was worse, although maybe they just had it a boot till they can get back to Miami and take a closer look. We should have an update later today hopefully.

Pretty sure McCain is fine. Tripp looked bad though. Vigil played very well. Jenkins was a beast per usual
