Any Player Facing Dolphins Defense is a Fantasy Dream

Hired Mike Nolan - No difference
Overpaid Dansby - No difference

Everytime I have a player on my fantasy league facing the dolphins defense,
it's an automatic career day for him.

This team is painful to watch....
 
Sometimes I think Mike steps out for lunch & Paul comes back in. This defense isnt much different then when Paul was here...Here & there we see Mike's defense do well.
 
Its eevn better to start a fantasy defense that is playing our team.. Thats a freakin great idea actually.. Im going to see if Tennessee Defense is a FA and if they are definitely picking them up.
 
Nolan is calling decent games..
The team just looks so slow out there..(Today anyway)
Maybe they dont understand the D and are not playing fast?
The only thing I hate about this D is that we seem to play way too much zone..
We are not playing press man style like we were last year..
The bottom line is that we lost this game because we could not find Rice..
Miami lost track of him time and time again..Made life very easy for Flacco and the Ravens..
If you can cover a running back its going to be long day..

So they have one bad game and they're terrible.... please. It's the offense. We should be able to score 27, why not? The Bills did it the week before. There's two parts to the game. Our defense has pulled the offense out of some hairy situations, but tell me this. When the HELL has the offense won us a game? Our D is good enough to contend, it's our O that holds us back.

The Defense is decent, solid at times. Good in certain areas, like the redzone. Bad on third downs. Inconsistent. I'd say it's a lack of talent, Nolan has actually done well with this defense. For what he has. And Dansby? How do you pick on Dansby? He's played great.
 
Cannot agree with you here. Last season, defense KILLED us. Every game.

We still have some defensive problems, esp 3rd and long. But Edds was drafted to be our coverage LB and he's sitting at home, so we're making do with what we have.

I think Nolan and the defense are doing a pretty bang up job. I'm a bit disappointed we don't have more game-changing plays, as those are infectious and help give the team a bit of swagger and mojo, which we're lacking.

Cmon man, our defense hasn't been spectacular but it has played decent.

Nolan has been a difference maker but sometimes you just don't have the players to make a difference. Dansby is solid and a sure tackler, but other then Wake who is our big play guy on defense? We don't have the talent. Think about it bro, we need a #2 corner, a FS (Although I think Clemons could be the answer, from what I've seen this year), a SS (Bell is getting up there in years and isn't exactly a playmaker. He used to be a sure tackler but that has escaped him), an ILB to play next to Dansby, and we don't know what we have in Dansby.

We had the opportunity to draft Earl Thomas, a difference maker but instead we traded back to take two players who will never be those type of guys.

Where is our Ed Reed, Troy P, Patrick Willis? It seems all the good teams have one, and we need one.

Come on man you gotta be blinded by anger here. Nolan called some real good games man our defense was on the field for 70+ plays that's almost unheard of. Dansby's a stud period you haven't watched all the games this year if you don't believe that. Yes our tackling was horrendous Sunday but you couldn't be anymore wrong in the direction of your anger which should be our offense or lack there of a.k.a. dan " i'm a senile douche who likes all the control" henning.
 
Stupid thread. The defense has been good more than bad this year but the offense sucks. Call me when we score 30 points and lose.
 
I like our D. If we can ever get a lead, we would see this D really do damage - instead, we let other teams dictate the game tempo. We've covered TE's pretty good this year thanks to Dansby, however, backs still kill us out of the backfield. Wake. Misi, Crowder cannot cover the better running backs in the league on pass patterns - it's not gonna happen.
