Teams can enter contract discussions with free agents of other teams in 3 days. If we're going to re-sign our guys, time is quickly running out. Any news on Stills or Sims?
They can both walk for all I care.
Yea we are so good at drafting, no point in keeping our better players

Right? Remember how upset people were that we were "giving up" on Clyde Gates? Now we're totally cool with letting a very productive player and a solid backup to an injury-prone TE walk with nothing more than a shrug. One playoff appearance and people forget what it's like to root for a **** team with no talent and no depth.
I want Sims back because Thomas is injury prone as you said and he also can't block. Sims is a very good blocker and he's not a burner but he's tough with reliable hands when open.
Stills hurt to lose, no doubt, but even without him we are good at WR and we have massive holes on D and on the inferior o line. We have no guards as of right now. The money Stills is gonna get should go to a top guard like Leary and a front 7 player in FA.
Stills wants 12 million next year. We can probably pay Leary and Zach Brown (for example) a combined 16 or 17. We just can't bring back Stills with the needs we have.

We're not at all "good" at WR without him. We have Landry and an injury-prone, lazy WR who so far hasn't lived up to his talent (and that's coming from a guy who loved the pick). That's it. Oh, and now an injury-prone, lazy TE. Let's not act like we're deep at WR. And Stills wanting $12 million doesn't mean ****. He might as well have said he wants a billion and 2 pet wooly mammoths.

You know for a fact that Devante Parker is lazy? I really think that he's gonna come into his own this year and prove himself as an alpha #1 receiver, but I could obviously be wrong. He just needs to have some better luck with his tissue injuries.
And Stills probably won't get 12, I agree, but he'll probably get 10 per, and there's no way in hell I'd give him more than 7.5 or 8 per with the amount of holes that we have elsewhere and with Landry needing to get paid big money within the next year. We're gonna lock up 22 million (at least) per year in Stills and Landry when we have Parker? No way.
