Do any of you believe there are any REALISTIC trades to be made by the Dolphins this year?

Is there anybody other teams actually WANT that the Dolphins would want to trade?

If so, who and what would the deal look like?

Also, any possible draft day trades by the Dolphins possibly involving players for picks?

Again, if so, what would the deal(s) look like
?

I could definitely see the possibility of a tradedown from a team looking to get one of the quarterbacks.

Whisenhunt has just proclaimed that improving the Chargers run game is priority 1. They have good RB's so I assume he is referring to the OL and offensive scheming.

When healthy....they have decent personnel except at center. They have worse than nothing. They have guys who are just plain detrimental.

I would offer Pouncey for 2nd round compensation. I don't like Pouncey but it isn't because he can't run block. He is an excellent run blocker and should be exactly what the Chargers are looking for.

Then, I sign Tony Bergstrom to a two or three year deal for around 3 mil a year and I draft Joe Dahl in the 5th to make sure I get him. Dolphins will probably have two new guards and a new center meaning new leadership and a revamped OL.

Bergstrom is 30, but he played the center position very well last year when Hudson was injured.

Dolphins get an early 2nd round pick, and about 3 mil in cap room, after dead money and the 3 mil allocated for Bergstrom.

I'd rather sign Stefen Wisniewski and hopefuly a bidding war starts for Pouncey, Given hes signed thru 2020, his trade value ought to be higher.

Wisniewski means a multi year deal with significant guaranteed money. He will be grossly over-paid in this market seeing as half the league is center needy. Bergstrom is a whole different animal. A nice stopgap at a resonable price while Joe Dahl learns the center position and gets strong and mighty for a couple years. Player development. The key.

If you really thought we deserved higher compensation, we could throw in Grimes seeing as how they are probably losing Robinson. Miko would probably sign with the LA bound Chargers for a two year 12 mil deal. Miko would love Hollywood, she would fit right in.

Then we could ask for a trade up in the 1st round as well as the 2nd rounder. How many spots is that?? 4-5. Could be enormously valuable if we chose to trade down; or their are those who really like Ramsey, I'm not one of them. I'd rather trade the #3 pick to the Rams and garner a 2nd and 3rd rounder. Or something like that. The possibilities are endless.

I'll stay at 8 and get either Ramsey or VHIII,

If Tom Bergstom can stay healthy, them multiple picks for Pouncey could go a long way towards rebuilding this putrid defense.

Good plan.

Why do we want to trade our best OL?

I understand if people think he's a punk but cmon. You need to be strong up the middle on both sides of the ball. Pouncey and Suh give us plenty to build around for a few years. Focus on the Guards and Linebackers.

Grimes has an $8M salary this year and $7M next year with nothing guaranteed. Maybe a team reworks the money and gives a conditional pick but picking up our salary offers little incentive.

Wake could have some value as an in season trade if healthy. That's it, other than picks.

I would be interested in trading for Carolinas backup MLB A.J. Klein. I know he played with a great defense, but he looked pretty good when i seen him play this year.

I'd trade John Denney for an extra 7th rounder to use in trade bait. He's been great at what he does, but he's getting old ... Better to cash in a year early than hold on a year too long.

I agree. Creating new holes tp fill is not the answer.
Draft Dahl. Sign some guards. Draft CB snd LB

Well, aside from the fact I think he's a punk, every time he's out our craptastic o-line somehow manages to play the same or even plays better. He's a good athlete but that's it. And he's overpaid. If somebody offered a 3rd for him I would take it and run.

He is a decent OL...not worth his cap hit now or long term. Somewhat of an injury risk too. Time to turn the page and put the money to better use. We cant lose Miller and Vernon so money can be spent there.

i don't know about the plays better part. He's a very good player and one of the best C in the league. Perhaps w competent Guards it would be more apparent. I'm no expert but blocking is a synchronized sport. When the two guys on either side of you can't get the snap count, whiff on picking up blitzers or stunts, it probably makes you look out of synch. I'm keeping Pouncey and heavying up at the G position.

Dion Jordan to the San Francisco Chip Kelly's for a 7th rounder would be a solid move.
sadly, at this point this would be a steal for us. How far he has fallen. Oof.
