in the first 4 games this season we have beaten the two better teams and lost against the 2 sucky teams

Wins: Denver 4-1 (we handed them there only loss)
Carolina 3-2 (with a win against New England)

Losses: Buffalo 2-3 (whos only other win came against Carr and the Texans)
NY Jets 2-3

Now if this trend Continues 4 of the next 5 games are against teams with at most 2 losses. if this continues we could end up 6-3 by the middle of november

They're not only two crappy teams, the're also our division rivals.

Maybe Saban has outsmarted everyone again and purposely decided to lose because he wants to give the Bills and Jets worse draft picks by giving them each a free win since they wont win much this year.....................................JK:D

...more like: Two games on the road. It's twice that this team comes out flat and goes under 'on the road'... you can't do that...

They were two road games against divisional opponents who are not all that crappy. Both the Jetsticles and the Bluecows have some major talent on their respective clubs. I think in both games our expectations were higher because of their QB woes...But we've seemed to have forgotten that we're not exactly fielding Carson Palmer ourselves. Not taking anything away from Gus but we do have our own set of deficiencies to account for.

I cant agree with you 6-3 theory, our schedule is going to get a lot tougher real fast: Bucs, Chiefs, Saints, Falcons, and then the Pats.

The Saints looks like an easy game, but we know that's never the case. It will be just as tough as the rest. It would be awesome to be 6-2 at the halfway point, but that is a tall order.

yeah its hard to say who will we play best against so... its all on them not making stupid penalties

Going 4-4 or 5-3 would be great. We then get to have a second shot at the Bills and Jets at home, then the Titans and Browns.

Welcome to Dolphins football.

We beat the "Good" teams and lose to the "Bad" ones. Should be happy we aren't 1-3 right now.

i thought it was the other way around. with wanny, we beat the lower teams and got beat badly by teams that were at the fins level or better.

Was it '03 that Palmer was drafted? I wish miami got him, instead of sticking with fiedler, but Palmer was a no.1 pick I believe. This guy is going to be a great qb, he has the leadership, cool in the pocket, and and makes good decisions, plus he has all the physical tools: strong arm, really accurate, especially on the deep ball, just think what Chambers could do with Palmer throwing to him. Gus has done alright, I'm not trying to put Gus down, but we all know he's here unil Miami gets a rookie qb, or via FA.

We won at home and have lost on the road...simple as that.

he looks like he is going to be a very good player, but i dont think there was any possibility of the fins getting him.

its pretty clear that gus isnt gonna take the fins very far, but i think the fins are in a bad position for getting a young qb if saban wants to make a super bowl push in the next couple years.

guys like talylor and thomas may be too old by the time a young qb is ready to play at a high level
