I used to have Direct TV so i was told I can't get it on my PS3.

It seems to me that the flaw in this offer is that most people "can" get Direct TV.

I personally hate it but I've had it for several years just to get the Sunday Ticket. I live in a part of Florida where we do not get Dolphin games.

I was hoping that there is some trick i can use.

I actually heard about this last night and looked it up,

It's $350.00 just for app which is absolutely absurd if you ask me. thing better have a deep fryer and kegerator attached to it for that price.

LOL, I hear you.

I'm also looking into the NFL.com online deals. If you have it can you tell me how it compares?

Thanks

$350 was about what Sunday Ticket cost last year on Directv, give or a take a few bucks. This year ST is $199/$299 so I would think the PS3 version would decrease in price at least a little. So you cant have access to Directv to get it on PS3? That really limits the market.

I would imagine that it is their intent to limit the market -- they want you as a DirecTV customer, not as a Sunday Ticket customer who buys it on their PS3 so they can avoid having to get DirecTV. If I was somewhere where I could get DirecTV, I would buy it for the sole purpose of NFL Sunday Ticket.

I had the ticket and watched on my ps three...tbo it was awful...laggy and picture was bad too..

I ended up just using my laptop and was alot clearer with alot less buffering.

What I did last year was split it with someone that has Direct TV. He sat at home watching on his TV and I used the DirectTV app on my ipad which I hooked up to my TV. It worked flawlessly. Only 1 person at a time can access the app but you can watch your tv and app at same time.

There still hasn't been any announcement if the PS3 is getting Sunday Ticket again. I've been reading different forums who have contacted both directv and Sony and got the same reply that they don't know and just to keep checkin the website. I had it last year and the first game was unwatchable. The second game was a bit better. After that, I had no problems with it. Directv didn't check if I was able to get their service or not.

Y'all probably live in a larger area where your cable companies compete for your business by offering good deals, more channels/features, etc. But I live in a small town outside of a $hitty small city and we have one cable company. The tv is overpriced, very few hd channels, and service is not extremely reliable. I switched to DirecTV last year because for the first time in my life I could watch every Dolphins game (I am prb the reason we started 0-7, sorry) ... but my whole family fell in love with it. My girls love all the extra kids stuff, my parents live with us and my dad is a Neckcar fanatic, my wife and my mom both love watching crafting/cooking/DIY stuff together and I can watch most every college football and every pro game that I want. And damn near every channel is in HD. Of course, my rate is going up as my one year intro price is about to expire but averaging the two years together will still be way cheaper. After my commitment is up, I understand that they do not offer much in the way of customer retention deals unless you play hard ball so we'll see what happens after this year. I'm almost willing to say I would pay whatever it takes because for the first time I actually feel I get my money's worth out of a cable/satellite subscription. YMMV

Nope, they won't do **** for you. They'll wait until you switch to Dish Network for a year and then call you up begging to get your business back.

What I told them isn't suitable for a PG rated forum.
