This kind of crap always amazes me. I once arrested a former Broncos RB (I can't remember his name now, but he was in the league as a backup for about six years) for check fraud. The guy was still making $75K in pension money, per year, for having been in the league for more than four years, and having gone out with an injury.
Think about that for a second: Here's a guy who's making $75 grand per year for doing absolutely nothing, who earned several hundred thousand dollars a year for six years, and who was an intelligent, well built, well spoken individual, being arrested for check fraud!!
I'll never understand how these former pro atheletes continue to do this kind of crap.

I think it's because they're stupid as hell.
Honestly, I believe it's because they refuse to perform a REAL job with REAL responsibilities. They're used to being paid a ton of money. So "regular" jobs are below them. They like the easy money and feel like they're entitled to it. And yet they don't know how to manage it.
