It know it may seem to be a non-issue with some but there is something I noticed this year that caused me to wonder. Every time they show a coach calling plays on the sideline they almost always cover the lower part of their face with the play sheet. When they show Gase he raises the sheet up to his chin but his lips can easily be seen. I assume the reason coaches do this is to keep other teams from reading their lips so that they can gain an advantage. Maybe it's overblown but I'm just wondering if anyone else noticed this and if it is something to be concerned about or not?

He should be covering his mouth. Other teams employ lip readers.

I see him covered all the time. Maybe here or there you get a glimpse when he doesn't but that applies to all coaches also. I always love when people take a two second shot from the sidelines and run with it as it happens the whole game.

I thought this was going to be about dip. Looked like Tannehill has joined Gase in that endeavor standing on the sidelines heck i probably would too standing there 4 hours.

This isn't a single instance. I noticed it every time they showed him calling the play. Full disclosure, I'm a Gase supporter - I just thought it a little odd and potentially harmful. Especially considering we play the Patsies twice a year.

Wow the fire Gase folks are really having to work hard this week

Gase has no lips, that's why he likes the Bubble screen so much.

He couldn't blow bubbles when he was a kid.;)
