I'm just sitting her thinking that watching these games this season are beginning to not be fun for me. Granted, it's an addiction and I'll never miss a game, but my feeling before games now is one of anxiety and hoping for the best but expecting the worst. 8 of 11 games decided by 4 points or less?!? Are you effing kidding me. Does anyone remember a season like this? We always have some games every season that are this way, but virtually every game?

Also, anyone agree that the joy of the Dolphins winning isn't as intense as the disappointment and frustration of a loss. It's almost as if when they win, it is more of a relief than anything. Then again, maybe I just need to see a shrink... :idk:

Just seeing if I'm the only one that feels this way...

2009. Many games followed this formula in 2009. Dominate some but never put enough points to make it count. This has been the story for a long time.

2007 we lost the majority of our games by just one score as well.

The difference with that is that we had no shot at the playoffs after not getting a win until a few months into the season. I think that's why these hurt even more. The playoffs are right there for us on a silver platter.

Ah, yes. I went to our game late in the season at Tennessee that year. We lost in overtime when Camarillo got called for a bogus Personal Foul penalty in OT after an interception at midfield set the Titans up in field goal range. That was a long 7 hour car ride home.

This season defitinitely hurts more than that one. We have much much more talent now than we did then.

For some time now.. the days leading to the game have been real mellow, I dont expect much from the team and if we lose, then no big deal... its as expected.. But come game time and more importantly the 4th quarter, I there yelling and screaming and getting all pizzed off..

It's easier to find a memory of a season that wasn't like this.

I think its all the more depressing by the fact we were given false hope starting the season 3-0.....yes, that was this season we started 3-0, feels like forever go what with all the losing since then.

This season is nowhere near as hard on me as the 1-15 season was....week after week of losing. Other than the Saint's game, we have been very competitive and could have won each of the games we lost. Losing close games is frustrating, but we are not the only team losing close games. I bet Houston Texans fans are hating life, especially since they have some really good players on both sides of the ball. The Broncos gave away a game last night to the Patriots. Every week teams you expect to win get beat. I think it's good for NFL parity, but hard on your nerves.

Mediocre is by far the most unenjoyable place to be. Unfortunately it's where every season besides 2004, 2007, and 2008 have been in the last 10.

You don't need to see a shrink. After yesterday's game I was pretty distraught. The lowest I've felt in a long time. That was a game that we should not have lost. I honestly believe that we have many ingredients to be a very good team but a few little mistakes we let the Panthers back in the game. I was also critical of some play calling, where we got too conservative at times. Wallace started the game well, why not continue to use him aggressively? Sherman's biggest problem is that he seems to be overprotective of his prodigy, Tannehill. I think that we need to take the Porsche out of the garage and see what he can do. Make no mistake, I think that he looks good but maybe we need a more aggressive Offensive Coordinator.
Memo to Mike - more of the same for the remaining games isn't going to cut it.

Exactly. Relief is the correct term. I feel relieved when they win and I'm mad as hell when they lose. But the joy hasn't been there...since Week 1.

2002, Ricky Williams' first season, was heartbreaking. Start 3-0, lose our QB(Fiedler), Gadsden against the Broncos. But we're 5-1. Ray Lucas comes in and stinks up the joint for a month. Up and down till week 16. We are 9-5 with two to go, only need to win one. Week 16 Cris Carter drops a TD that hits him in the chest, we lose to the Vikings. No matter, win the next week, we're in. We're beating New England in New England 24-13 with 4:59 to go, and we lose. The last four minutes looked like the Dolphins were trying to throw that game. I've never seen a more unbelievable collapse in my life.
Season over.
I still don't like talking about it.

When we Win I jizz my pants. But when we Lose I crap fire man. Too much losing and crapping fire lately...
