anyone else upset nfl network is getting games? iam because i dont have it. i have sunday ticket. i better not miss a game. This pisses me off.

Did this end up rly going through? I heard it earlier in the off season and was so blown away by that info that I dismissed it completely. I really doubt they would do such a thing, its just stupid.

im in college and i dont get to see fins games any ways, and if they have a primetime game and its on nfl network instead of the reg channel ill be mad

My guess would be more cable operators will pick up this channel because of this. I am not going to worry too much about it.

Directv is still the only Sunday Ticket provider, right? I thought NFL Network was included with all Directv packages. I get it included for free and as far as I know I just have the basic package and of course a yearly subsscriber to Sunday Ticket. You should call and complain.

my guess is it wouldnt be prime time games because ESPN and NBC have thier own contracts BUT it would be on sundays...you know for those who live in say New York and only get jets games there is a chance that NFL Net would play the dolphin game

This is a GOOD thing. These are MORE games than would normally be on tv. If you're missing the game, then you probably wouldn't have seen it anyway.

Take your receiver over to his house and hook it up for those times when you need to. It will work fine as it doesn't know where it is....It takes three minutes to swap out.

NFL Network will be airing every thursday night and saturday games starting from Thanksgiving Day on. That's what they advertised on the network.

I'm GLAD they will be offering Thurs. and Sat. games. I have DirecTV and the Sunday Ticket and it includes NFL Network channel.....

If you have NFL Sunday Ticket through Directv, then you should have the NFL Network (ch. 212).

The games will be on Thursday and Saturday nights after Thanksgiving.

If they are a local team, and the game is a sellout, you will see it simulcast on a basic antenna network.

This shouldn't be any different than when ESPN used to broadcast NFL games on Thursday nights a couple times per season. Hopefully these games put pressure on your local cable companies to provide the NFL network. If not, call and complain, it will help.
