Anyone Else Warming To Quinn Gray

I have been looking at the QB's that will be avail. in FA and the guy that keeps coming out as the best option for Miami is Quinn Gray.

Big strong qb with a very strong arm. He is mobile and from the limited time that he has played in theNFL he ha makes pretty good decisons with the ball. He is young and loaded with potential. I'm a part time Jag watcher and I think this guy is a great option for Miami. He is a huge upgrade over Cleo and I think he will be a very capable NFL QB if Beck is not the answer. I like Beck a lot and feel that he is the long term answer but to have comp in camp is a great thing.

What do you guys think?

Yeah I've been on the bandwagon for awhile now. I hope we bring him in.
 
I think we need as many guys as we can possibly get, and let the best man in the preseason win the job. That goes for every position.

I have no problem with the Fins signing ANYONE, we have a ton of holes to fill. (Within reason of course.....when it comes to guaranteed money then you only want to spent alot of that on superstars.....but an incentive laden deal for anyone is cool with me)

Either him or Billy Volek. Given the circumstances those two might be our best shot at getting a decent vet QB. I dont think bringing back Trent Green would be a good idea. Let them battle it out with Beck and may the best QB start.

After you've clicked the link go to his situational stats. The guy has been money in the redzone.
Y'know I keep reading how people are so high on Volek and/or McCown, so I wish someone would make a legitimate argument for either of those 2 over Quinn Gray.
 
Quinn and I went to school together. I would love for him to get a break at the QB position somewhere. Other than us being classmates, I can't say I have a real reason I'd want him on the team.

I think he is one of the best available options in free agency. It would be good to allow him to compete with Beck and the best QB will win. One good thing about him is that when he played, he seemed to take care of the ball. He also has a decent QB rating from his limited experience. He isn't a franchise type QB, but he may be a caretaker until the dolphins can find a difference maker.
