I think part of his problem today was the bad play of the OL. I dont think he was getting set before throwing BUT man he had NO zip on his passes today. I can't see how he is going to be sucessful throwing into a hard wind.

why are we still having threads about this????:err:

if Chad couldnt perform, rain, snow, wind,or shine,he wouldnt have lasted 8 years(and counting) in the league, plain and simple....

That's why it is HUGE that the Buffalo game is in a dome in Toronto. That could be the difference in our season. Finally, the schedule makers give us a freakin break!

Yeah some of those passes were ducks. I was having visions of AJ Feeley back there.

after that long ball to ginn i have no problem with chads arm, i do have a problem with the revolving door at RG though most of the pressure came from there and there was a guy coming free on almost every pass play which cause a lot of passes to be thrown off balance

Why? because he has NO zip in good weather, I don't even want to think about what is going to happen when he has a stiff wind in his face.

BTW, I like Chad, I just think he has some limitations.

Chad had a pick 6 and almost had another on that out pattern, but he also had another huge time consuming drive that in effect won the game because on that last drive Seattle had no T/Os and not a lot of time on the clock because of that 8 min drive.

no, every game is going to be tight, that is the kind of talent we have right now.

Chad throws some ducks virtually every game, that nothing new. I'm not sure the weather has much to do with it.

There were some ducks but that fleaflicker throw was pretty nice. Not a great decision (double coverage) and Camarillo was wide open, but how in the world Ginn caught that I have no idea.

Yeah that flea flicker was a perfect pass....perfect! Nice pluck out of the air by Ginn too on a tricky angle with 2 dudes on him in the back of the end zone!

It shouldn't be though. We have killed people the last 2 weeks to open the game, only to have bone head plays to let them back in.

Is it a concern, well kinda, but so is the lack of a consistant running game, a solid RG and pass rush other than Porter. We are not a championship team this year and yes we have weaknesses. But we are so much better than we were last year.
If you go back and look at the flea flicker he threw it from the 46/47 and hit ginn 8 yds deep in the end zone. That is 53/55 yards in the air. True that isn't Marino but it isn't like he is a complete noodle arm. Of all the problem we have as a team I can't see his lack of arm strength being one of the biggest.

Not me it isn't. Enough said

Not a bit..it's the opponents that need to be worried!
