Looking at the draft picks. I see Miami has 3 3rd round picks. 75, 87, 91. Now I would trade waddle for a 2nd or even another 3rd round pick and build for the future. Whoever the GM is, can’t be worse than Grier. What are your thoughts?

Can't get too excited about the draft yet, until I know what our GM/HC situation is. A new GM could be exciting, but if he's drafting players for McD's retarded "scheme" then that would still put a bit of a damper on things.

isn't it interesting, at this time of year, once again we are talking about the draft and not talking about playing a football game? at least we have the hurricanes!

Agree, hard to get too excited right now. I want to know what's the chefs specialty and whose buying the groceries. :chuckle:

Exactly! It's too early to get excited for the draft. Around March is when I start getting pumped for the draft.

Unless something drastic changes, like Ross is no longer the owner before we pick the next GM, and that GM replaces the HC, I'm not excited about this team whatsoever. I'll still get enjoyment from watching the players do their thing, especially Achane and some others, but as for excitement about the team, naaa.

Absolutely not taking that trade on Waddle when before the deadline we were offered a 1.

If we trade Waddle before the draft that's another $23 million in dead cap this year, $16 million in 27 and just under $10 million in 28.
