Understood brother. My thought was if it can work out without taking more of a hit as I didn't check the ramifications in doing so. I admit that.

His contract isnt bad, pretty consistent WR. Thats why I would prefer to keep him and add a bigger bodied guy. I know some want to stockpile more picks which isnt a bad idea either. But yeah, that contract and our cap will hurt.

Highest bidder was Buffalo and no way I would send him there. Not sure what other offers were on the table.

If McDaniel is still the coach, I am not that excited unless there is a GM with BALLS that understand to win in the NFL you MUST be Bigger, Stronger, and Faster. McDaniel like small fast guys, that just doesn't work, they don't hold up and when you play physical teams you are just over matched. We signed a 5'9" receiver today...oh the joy!

Not really.

The way it was structured had a 23m signing bonus and 2 void years at the end.

Next year it would be more feasible.

I'm *guessing* we will draft a QB next year, and try to use this year to clear up the books as much as we can.. in that scenario, why not just keep Waddle for a young QB to throw to. Hopefully we get more weapons too- a big WR, young TE, keep Achane around... I dont want to hamstring a young qb to a bad team with *NO* talent like what happened with Tannehill and Tua....
