I see TONS of threads and posts on the Cog-Martin deal based on half stories, tidbits, and scraps thrown out from the media. I'm trying to sort out what to think of this mess, and have a few questions.

What did Ireland do and know?

What did Philbin do and know?

What did coaches do and know?

What did players do and know?

Are there any legal issues involved? What are they?

That should be good for now to at least come up with a pretty good idea of what to think. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Col. Mustard in the kitchen with the candlestick.

Seeing how none of the situation up to Martin flipping out and going to the hospital seems out of the ordinary I'm not sure what there was for the FO or players to know and do.

Exactly why I don't understand why so many people are claiming things, speculting things, etc. It's best for the human stress level to just sit back and wait for the end result. Yes, you like a football team, and things are going on. But the fact that so many people are so overwhelmed with speculation about what's going on is really laughable.

i spoke to Ireland this morning and he said he knew nothing and was surprised that Philbin let things go this far and will pay the price. He said he spoke to Ross who assured him his position is safe and are looking forward to another draft now that Philbin has screwed this up. He said the players should have done a better job at being leaders and should be embarrassed of themselves

I think it's more like two kids in a high school spat that has been given national attention.
lunchroom pranks
vulgar texts
name calling
one kid doesn't like school rules and quits

I mean cmon this is nonsense, like I have said from the beginning.

ESPN needs to do a 30 for 30 on themselves. "how far back did we take the wrong road"
