He spent a lot of time ripping Miami for letting Ricky come back. He also went on to state Ricky would never play a down for Miami this year as he would be traded during his suspension phase. He also ripped into Saban for his limited media policy and basically stated Saban was setting the team up for failure by being the way he is with his media policies.
First off, I think we all agree Ricky isn't getting traded so Cowherd basically showed his lack of recent trade status knowledge right there. Seattle can't unload Alexander and the rest of the NFL is clawing over itself to get Ricky. Secondly, Saban has no chance of succeeding when other lessor known coaches such as Vince Lombardi, a young Don Shula, Bill Parcells and Bill Bellichick have also limited media access to their team on a consistent basis.
