Just curious when the next one starts up, and then I'm guessing they go every week until training camp opens? After seeing the rookie mini camp pics, vids and write ups I feel like an addict that can't get their fix........I need more Phins!!!!

June 6-8 I believe.

At this stage of the game I am sure that the players know that anyone on a 1-15 team does not have job security. Until this team and the playes on this team prove they can win there are no superstars that get a free pass on camps.

An excused absense on this team would be something like....
"Coach I just had open heart surgery...they didnt get my heart back in my chest until a few minutes ago...sorry i am late, it wont happen again.":unsure:

OTAs are currently going on. You may be confusing OTA and minicamp. A voluntary MC is pretty much like an OTA, but everyone pretty much shows (especially with Bill running the show). Dolphins began OTAs today, and they go (I believe) through Wednesday, and then a voluntary MC begins this weekend. But like I said, the two are pretty much synonymous. Only certain days are open to the media, and that is when you will get the updates, reports and interviews.

The next (and only) mandatory mini camp is June 6-8.

Each team gets allotted the same number of OTAs, and they spread them throughout the offseason as the see fit. They usually end in mid to late June, at which time the players and staff get about a month off before the start of TC.
