Wow, Sparano showed that he was a rookie HC. Hate to say it, but like Cameron did last season.

He deactivated Ernest Wilford over London? Pfft.

He didn't use the two star RBs correctly, he put Cobbs at 3rd back instead of Ronnie Brown? Pfft.

He chose not to take the last timeout before the 2:00 warning that would had gave us more time when we got it back on offense, but he let the clock run out to the 2:00 warning and took the timeout afterwards giving Pennington less time? Pfft.

Well, now that this game is over, I still saw some encouraging stuff.

We just looked badly coached and rookies(Jake Long) making mistakes and oh, we need to make sure we draft a CB in the 1st round next draft and use one of our 2nd rounders on a quick OLB.

If we are going to give up on Wilford that fast, then we need to make sure we trade one of our 2nd rounders for Antawn Boldin, fast!

I do see us beating ARI next week though.

The only thing that may be argued is playing Ronnie on 3rd down... Maybe he didn't cause he wanted to work him back slowly and not expose him to a blind or open field hit.... I don't know!

As for not being coached well, i disagree!

I think in the 4th quarter we had a 4th down on the Jet's 42 yard line,,,,we were moving it well, and Sparano decided to punt it. I would have gone for it. I haven't been to crazy with Field's punting...he takes too long to kick it and is very inconsistent. The first 3-4 series of the game in which we had the ball, we looked like crap....very conservative, predictable calls. Hopefully Sparano will get out the rookie coach jitters, as will some of the players. Bess looked good early on, and then he disappeared.

Did you even watch any games last season? Miami or Dallas? He no where near made the mistakes "Cam Cam" made. Do I need to remind anyone of his numerous field goal miscalls or 4th down plays that where almost worse than fumbling it away? The Tuna made the team and he hired someone he trusted from Dallas and told him "Go coach them for me". Cameron hand picked his own players and STILL couldn't coach the players he himself had chosen. We lost this game because of penalties and a lucky catch from the Jets. Not because of bad coaching. We had a chance and that is more than I can say about us against the Jets last year. I feel sorry for Baltimore. They where the only team to see us beat them in 2007 and apparently got the false idea that Cameron was a good coach. Cameron = Epic Fail

yay an intelligent post finally as far as the day goes

Talking about miscalls: 3rd and goal at the 2. Incomplete Pass. 4th and goal at the 2. Incomplete pass. We have two studs in the backfield. If this team is about to win a game or two, those two backs should be able to get two yards with two carries.

I definitely agree with the timeout right after the two-minute-warning. Should have taken the timeout earlier. But who knows, it was 3rd-and-2. Maybe the Jets wouldn't have a false start if he took that timeout earlier? Shoulda, woulda, coulda. We lost the game and being outcoached was not the only factor but it was one of many.
